Readers come to Super Bowl Pass for quick, correct answers. This page explains how we gather, check and update the information on the site, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Sources we use
- Official first: the NFL, the broadcasters (ESPN, ABC and Disney for Super Bowl LXI) and the host venue are our primary sources for dates, kickoff times, channels, performers and venue details.
- Live data: scores, standings, schedules, brackets and team stats come from a licensed sports data feed and update automatically, with faster updates on game day.
- Trusted media: established news outlets are used to confirm or add context, never as the only source for a key fact.
Key pages end with a list of their sources so you can check them yourself.
How we check facts
Core facts such as the date, kickoff time, venue and TV channels are stored in one place and shown the same way on every page, so a single update keeps the whole site consistent. We do not publish rumors as facts. Until something is officially announced, such as the halftime performer or the national anthem singer, we say it has not been announced yet. Estimates, like when the halftime show usually starts, are clearly labeled as estimates.
Updates
We review our main pages regularly and every time there is official news. Each page shows its last updated date. On game day the score, matchup and related pages refresh automatically.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we fix it as soon as we confirm it. Report an error to hello.superbowlpass@gmail.com with the page link and what needs to change.
Odds and betting content
Any odds we show are for information only. We do not take bets, do not promote sportsbooks and do not give betting advice. Fan polls on the site are for fun.
Advertising and independence
The site is supported by display advertising. Ads are clearly marked and kept separate from our content. Advertisers do not influence what we cover or how we cover it. Super Bowl Pass is independent and not affiliated with the NFL or any team or broadcaster.
