On a 25-square sheet each box covers two numbers across and two down, so it matches four of the 100 possible score endings instead of one.
How to fill out a squares sheet
- Write the two team names on the top and side lines once the matchup is set on January 31, 2027.
- Let players write their names in the empty squares until the grid is full.
- Only then draw the numbers. Use the number cards: one set for the top, one for the side, drawn from separate hats.
- After each quarter, find the last digit of each team’s score and write the winner in the table.

Printing tips
The templates are US Letter with wide margins, so they also fit A4 with “Fit to page” turned on. For a party board everyone can see, print the 100-square sheet on 11 by 17 inch paper or have a copy shop enlarge it to poster size. Print the number cards on card stock so the numbers don’t show through when folded.

What is the difference between 25 and 100 squares?
A 100-square grid gives each row and column one number. A 25-square grid gives each two numbers, so each square covers four score combinations and suits smaller groups.
When should the numbers be drawn?
Only after every square has a name in it. That way nobody knows which numbers they will get when they pick a square.
